Hey everyone, how's your summer going? Well, mine's been pretty good, summer school is over and I think I did pretty good.....it was tough waking up, going to school, doing homework and not making money from work but it was worth it, Math 11 is finally done. Also, I got a new cell phone which was really nice, cuz my old one was messed up and kept dropping calls. I lost everyone's number though, so it would be cool if you guys could give me your cell numbers again.

Another year gone by.....................................................

Well what a year it has been. It passed by really fast and I enjoyed every bit of Grade 10. Now, going to do my provincials, I look back and I realize what a great year it has been and I thank God for what I have done this year and all that He has given me.

On Monday, to put the icing on the cake, I got Most Inspirational Player for basketball, and it's really weird, the year I thought I would win I didn't, and the year I least expected to win it  I did. It's the only award that you get for a sport at PG, so I was really happy.

Oh yeah, I also quit my job. I feel so free........it was just becoming too much of a hassle and with summer school coming up, I wasn't gonna be able to work. I'm sure I'll find another job somewhere and if I don't, it's no biggie. I can enjoy my last days a carefree youth before responsiblilites start crashing down on me.

So it's been an eventful two months. Like Brandon said, it's time for another update.

   Stathcona happened about 2 weeks ago and it was honestly one of the worse trips I've done. My group had the longest hike and I got severly dehyrdated and sick at the same time. It was really horrible, my face felt like a stove. I couldn't do any activites when we got back from the overnight hike. I did get to spend time with my friends, so that was a good consolation..... and we all wish you were there Mary!

   Track and field season just finished and I did really well. Our relay team got 2nd in the 4 by 200 relay and third in the 4 by 100 relay. Also, I qualified for Cities this year in javelin and I threw a personal best, It was great becuase I finally qualified for an indivdual event, not a team one. I faulted all of my throws at Cities , but it's okay, I'll be back next year.

   Lastly, my birthday is in 4 days, on this Friday. I find myself not wanting it to come for some reasons, growing up has lost it's appeal for me. I find myself wanting to stay even younger than I am right now. But we all have to grow up. I'll be sixteen and I can't believe how fast these years have passed. I'm apprehensive but really excited about the future and what I'll do after high school.

Oh yeah, happy birthday to Marissa, Anthony, Olivia, Kaila, Tiffany, Alex and soon Yayi and Yvonne! May is such a cool month.
